FIT AFRICAN NIGERIA (FIT) in collaboration with Foundation for Youth Development had (FYD) NDLEA, Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Ministry of Health, etc., organized a 20KM walk against drug abuse, drawing participants from all corners of the city. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to promote a healthier, drug-free lifestyle among the youth with the Theme: Physical Exercise a Clear Evidence for Prevention

The walk began at the Abuja Millennium Park to Bannex, Wuse II to Zone 3, and extended to different route in the city. Where participants gathered in their vibrant t-shirts emblazoned with the event’s slogan: “Walk for a Drug-Free Future.” Among the crowd were students, Foundation for Youth Development had (FYD) team, athletes, community leaders, and local celebrities, all united by a common cause.
As the walk commenced, the participant steps echoing the collective resolve to combat drug abuse. Along the route, volunteers handed out pamphlets entailing information about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of making positive life choices. The sight of so many people walking together for a cause was truly inspiring.
The walk concluded at the Millenium Park, where a stage had been set up for a closing ceremony.
The 20KM walk against drug abuse was more than just a physical activity; it was a powerful statement of unity and commitment to a cause that affects countless lives.
