Conclusion and Award of “Greater Egbema Secondary School Essay Competition”
- 1st Place Winner: Global Comprehensive Secondary School
N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira)
- 2nd Place: Queen of Heaven Secondary School: N25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira)
- 3rd Place: Modern Secondary School: N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira)
Summary
Essay Title: “Use of Organic Composting Vs. Chemical Fertilizer”
Each participating school was required to present their work with a team of students, typed (not hand-written).
Winning schools have been instructed to utilize prize money to start composting activities in their respective school. FYD will be reporting on the outcome of each school activities in our final report. Winning schools reported weather related challenges, however, organic composting has been adopted as a routine school activity.
